Music in Worship

Passage: I Sam 16: 14-23, Colossians 3:15-16

Bible Text: I Sam 16: 14-23, Colossians 3:15-16 | Preacher: Elizabeth Brown, Kathryn Smith Derksen

Why do we sing? Because we love to, or do we simply tolerate singing because we love those who love it? And what does music actually have to do with our spirituality? This Sunday we will look at (and sing about) the role music plays in the lives of Bible characters, the power of music in worship, and the personal depths of music and the soul. Come worship with us as Kathryn Smith Derksen and Elizabeth Brown share scripture and stories and lead singing about “Music in worship.”
